Guidelines for School Management to Promote Community Participation in Developing Vocational Skills of Secondary Students in Opportunity Expansion Schools under Saraburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 1

Abstract
The objectives of this research were to assess the needs of school administration in promoting community participation in the development of vocational skills of secondary school students in extended opportunity schools under the Office of Saraburi Primary Educational Service Area 1, classified by gender, age, educational level, job position, and years of service. The sample consisted of 226 school administrators and teachers from extended opportunity schools under the Office of Saraburi Primary Educational Service Area 1, selected by simple random sampling. The research instrument was a five-point Likert scale questionnaire with established reliability. Data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and the Priority Needs Index (PNI). The research findings revealed that:
1.The current state of school administration to promote community participation, overall, was at a high level (= 4.17), particularly in the areas of social skills and cultural diversity, as well as leadership and responsibility. 2.The level of needs assessment indicated that the expected state was at the highest level (= 4.74), with an overall Priority Needs Index (PNI) of .164. The area with the highest need was flexibility and adaptability (PNI = .176), followed by productivity and responsibility, and initiative and self-direction.
