An Administrative Model of Smart schools Under the Office of The Basic Education Commission

Abstract
This research aimed to 1) analyze the elements of smart school administration, 2) create a smart school administration model, and 3) evaluate the smart school administration model. The research consisted of 3 steps: Step 1: Analyze the elements of smart school administration, Step 2: Create a smart school administration model, and Step 3: Evaluate the smart school administration model. This research was mixed-methods research. The population was administrators and teachers of 81 kindergarten schools in the province. The sample consisted of 67 schools and 469 informants. The research was conducted by multi-stage random sampling, interviews with 13 experts, expert seminars with 9 people, and model evaluators with purposive selection. The research instruments included document recording forms, interview forms, questionnaires with IOC values of 0.80–1.00 and reliability of 0.98, expert seminar recording forms, and model evaluation forms. The statistics used in the research were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and exploratory factor analysis. The research findings were as follows:
1) The components of smart school administration consisted of 7 components with a weight value of (0.72-0.51): (1) Vision, Policy, and Strategy; (2) Technology Management; (3) Quality Management; (4) Executive Leadership; (5) Teacher Potential Development; (6) Learning School; and (7) Student Quality. 2) The result of creating a smart school administration model consisted of 3 parts: Part 1 is the introduction, Part 2 is the content, and Part 3 is the conditions for success. 3) The result of the evaluation of the smart school administration model overall had the highest evaluation result (= 4.60, S.D.= 0.23). The evaluation results of each aspect of correctness, appropriateness, feasibility, and usefulness were at the highest level.
