An Evaluation of Piboonbumpen Demonstration School, Burapha University Curriculum: English and Social Program

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate Piboonbumpen Demonstration School Burapha University curriculum for English-Social Studies program using Context, Input, Process and Product (CIPP) model. The sample of 108 participants of this research consists of curriculum and teaching expertise, administrators, instructors, students and parents of English-Social Studies program of secondary 6 students in academic year of 2016. Questionnaire was applied as a research instrument to study from the samples by analyzing percentages, mean and standard deviation using statistical package.

             The result reveals that the Context evaluation for instance aims of curriculum, curriculum structures and subject contents, the Input evaluation for instance readiness and potential of instructors, teaching materials, learning resources and budgets, the Process evaluation for instance instructing and learning activities, course evaluations and curriculum administration, and the Product of evaluation for instance learning achievement, the ability of learner in reading, analyzing, writing and learners’ characteristic according to curriculum and qualities of learner in English-Social Studies program were all in the satisfactory level which passed the evaluation criteria.
