Development of Web Based E-Learning on 4091113 Calculus 1

Abstract

The research aimed 1) to develop E-Learning on 4091113 Calculus 1 for the undergraduate students, Faculty of Science, Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University to meet the 80/80 standard criteria of efficiency, 2) to compare learning achievements of the students between before and after learning through the use of web-based E-Learning on 4091113 Calculus 1 , and 3) to study the satisfaction of students towards the use of web-based E-Learning on 4091113 Calculus 1 course. The samples selected by cluster random sampling were 32 undergraduate students studying in the first year in department of mathematics, Faculty of Science, Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University, enrolled in the first semester of academic year 2017. The research instruments were 1) web-based E-Learning on 4091113 Calculus 1 in topic of differentiation of algebraic and transcendental functions and, 2) learning achievement pretest and posttest on 4091113 Calculus 1 in topic of differentiation of algebraic and transcendental functions totally 30 items and, 3) satisfaction test of using web-based E-Learning on 4091113 Calculus 1 in topic of differentiation of algebraic and transcendental functions. The statistics used in data analysis was percentage, average, standard deviation, and t-test. The findings showed that 1) the efficiency of the developed E-Learning on Calculus 1: differentiation of algebraic and transcendental functions was 83.59/81.77, 2) the average learning score of posttests was higher than that of pretest with the statistical significance at .01 and, 3) the overall students’ satisfaction toward the web-based E-Learning on 4091113 Calculus 1: Differentiation of Algebraic and Transcendental Functions was at a very good level.
