Study on the living conditions of Buddhist nun in Thailand

Abstract

Research article on the current living conditions of nuns in Thailand. The purpose of this study was to study the current living conditions of nuns in Thailand. The results of the study show that nuns are one of the four important Buddhist companies related to Buddhism, which in the Tripitaka mentions the role and duties of nuns who spread Buddhism in various aspects, but nowadays in most Thai societies, the role of nuns is overlooked, including the current living conditions. In terms of living conditions according to the principles of the Four Factors, which are the three jewels, food, season, and Milan pharmacy, and
in terms of living conditions according to the principles of the Vinaya, which is the living conditions according to the principles of Buddhism that nuns must practice. This makes some verses flexible from the original. Therefore, it is pointed out that the living conditions of nuns in Thailand have been adapted to the current era.
