กระบวนการพัฒนาและแนวทางการเสริมสร้างลักษณะนักวิจัยพฤติกรรมศาสตร์

สถาบันวิจัยพฤติกรรมศาสตร์เป็นสถาบันการศึกษาเฉพาะทางด้านพฤติกรรมศาสตร์แห่งแรกในประเทศไทย การมีองค์ความรู้เกี่ยวกับกระบวนการพัฒนานักวิจัยพฤติกรรมศาสตร์ผ่านมุมมองของบัณฑิตที่มีความโดดเด่นด้านผลงานวิจัย จึงเป็นประเด็นที่ควรแสวงหาความจริงเพื่อนำมาสร้างความรู้ การวิจัยนี้มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษากระบวนการพัฒนานักวิจัยพฤติกรรมศาสตร์ และค้นหาแนวทางเสริมสร้างนักวิจัยพฤติกรรมศาสตร์ให้สอดรับกับทิศทางการวิจัยและนวัตกรรมของประเทศ ออกแบบด้วยการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพแบบการศึกษาเฉพาะกรณี เลือกผู้ให้ข้อมูลหลักแบบเจาะจงตามคุณสมบัติ กลุ่มแรกเป็นบัณฑิตที่มีผลงานวิจัยโดดเด่น และกลุ่มที่สองเป็น คณาจารย์ผู้รับผิดชอบ อาจารย์ผู้สอน และผู้ใช้บัณฑิต เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลด้วยการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกเป็นหลัก วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยการวิเคราะห์เชิงเนื้อหา ผลการศึกษาพบว่า นักวิจัยพฤติกรรมศาสตร์ผ่านกระบวนการบ่มเพาะใน 3 ช่วง ได้แก่ ช่วงแรก “ช่วงการเรียน” เป็นช่วงที่ได้รับการบ่มเพาะจากอาจารย์ผู้สอนทั้งในห้องเรียนและนอกห้องเรียน ช่วงที่สอง “ช่วงการทำวิจัย”เป็นช่วงที่ผู้เรียนเตรียมพร้อมที่จะทำปริญญานิพนธ์ ใช้การเรียนรู้ด้วยตนเอง และช่วงสุดท้าย “ช่วงเผยแพร่ผลงานวิจัย” เป็นการบ่มเพาะผู้เรียนภายหลังการทำวิจัยแล้ว มีอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษาเป็นแมวมอง และพยายามเรียนรู้จากงานต้นแบบ ส่วนแนวทางการเสริมสร้างลักษณะนักวิจัยพฤติกรรมศาสตร์ให้สอดรับกับทิศทางการวิจัยและนวัตกรรมของประเทศจากมุมมองของผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสีย พบว่า การบริหารจัดการด้านหลักสูตร และการบริหารจัดการด้านการเรียนการสอน เป็นจุดที่หลักสูตรฯ ควรพัฒนาเพื่อเสริมความแข็งแข็งที่มีอยู่ ผลจากการวิจัยครั้งนี้ทำให้ได้องค์ความรู้เชิงลึกที่ผู้บริหารระดับคณะ/สถาบัน/สำนัก และคณาจารย์ผู้รับผิดชอบหลักสูตรระดับบัณฑิตศึกษาในสาขาสังคมศาสตร์อื่นๆ สามารถนำข้อค้นพบไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการจัดการเรียนการสอนให้เหมาะสมกับบริบทของสาขาวิชา
