Creation of Database and Application to Study the Knowledge Managementof Community Resources for Sustainable life Quality Development Using Geoinformation Technology in Songkhla Lake Basin

Abstract

The database created by the Geo information Technology for knowledge management of community resources amounts to the system developed for the storage of database of learning sources from the management of community resources for identifying learning sources. Furthermore, the constructed database can be utilized for supporting decision making on selecting community resource learning sources using the Geo information Technology on the website called www.songkhlatourism KM.com, which include a natural resource (11 communities), monetary resource (6 communities) and socio-cultural resource (6 communities) that all are dispersed around Songkhla Lake Basin area. The website is linked with Google maps consisting of community database, contact of the communities, community profiles, community knowledge management processes, factors affecting knowledge management and circulation of community knowledge. Users can search for required topics of information of the provinces, types of community knowledge, circulation of knowledge, knowledge circulators, methods of knowledge circulation and quality of communities. The users can also make a search by using keywords on community resource knowledge management.
