GOOD GOVERNANCE IN SENA “SENAPRASIT” SCHOOL

The purposes of this research were to study; 1) the good governance in Sena “Senaprasit” School, and 2) the guideline to develop the good governance in Sena “Senaprasit” School. The sample comprises were 4 school administrators and 82 teachers of Sena “Senaprasit” School, a total of 86 persons. The research instruments were to questionnaire about good governance and structured Interview on guidelines for develop good governance. The statistics used for analyzing the data were frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation and content analysis.
The findings reveal that:
- The good governance in Sena “Senaprasit” School was at moderate level in overall view and in each aspect. The arithmetic mean values were arranged in the following order: efficiency, participation, responsiveness, accountability, equity, transparency, effectiveness, rule of law, decentralization and consensus oriented.
- The guideline to develop the good governance in Sena “Senaprasit” School had guidelines such as: 1) the school should organize training to enhance knowledge and understanding and should make training course for teacher’s development to get knowledge, capability and information technology skill. Also, the school should adjust working up-to date form, especially online form to make it easy for data collecting, communication and process of school. 2) the school should set up mission framework and working schedule or activities as guide lined to fix time line and control them to follow the school’s working plan. 3) The school should provide opportunities for concerned parties, teachers, school committees, students and communities to be able to access school's information by showing signboard and publicizing school's news and activities to parents and the community to know. This can be done by using various technologies to keep them informed of the movements as well as the report of school's working operation. 4) The school should emphasize and instill values as well as compliance with laws, rules and regulations with fairness and justice. And the school should establish the rules considered mutual agreements, should clarify the correct way of working and should establish the order of responsibility to perform duties in according to the knowledge and ability with appropriateness and the official regulations. 5) the school should set up mission framework and working schedule or activities and use
