The development of a model of internal supervision for learning management based on Learner-center instruction at Wat Pomkaew Municipal School (Akaraphong Chanupatham)

Abstract

               The development of a model of internal supervision for learning management based on Learner-center instruction at Wat Pomkaew Municipal School (Akaraphong Chanupatham).              The objectives were 1) to study the basic information and requirements for internal supervision for learning management based on Learner-center instruction 2) to develop the model of internal supervision for learning management based on Learner-center instruction 3) to experimentthe model of internal supervision for learning management based on Learner-center instruction and 4) to evaluate the model of internal supervision for learning management based on Learner-center instruction. The population were 1 administrator, 16 supervising teachers, and 47 supervised teachers. The instruments were the document analysis forms and related researches, group discussion topics, the satisfaction questionnaires, and the evaluation forms. The data were analyzed by content analysis, mean, and standard deviation. The results of the research were as follows. The model of internal supervision for learning management based on Learner-center instruction at Wat Pomkaew Municipal School (Akaraphong Chanupatham) named “HOME Model”. The results of the experiment showed the supervising teachers were able to supervise at a high level, the supervised teachers were able to manage the teaching based on Learner-Center instrument at a high level, the supervising teachers and the supervised teachers were satisfied with the model at the highest level, and the administrator, the supervised teacher, and the supervising teacher had opinions toward the model that it was the effective model for the development of teaching management based Learner-center instruction and the development of the overall quality of education.
