RISK MANAGEMENT OF U-THONG SCHOOL UNDER THE SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE SUPHAN BURI

Abstract

          The purposes of this research were to determine: 1) the risk management of U-Thong School under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office Suphan Buri and 2) the guidelines for developing the risk management of U-Thong School under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office Suphan Buri. The sample of this study was personnel of U-Thong School. The respondents from U-Thong School were; a school director, deputy school directors, heads of the department, and teachers, with a total of 108 respondents. The instrument for collecting the data was a questionnaire about the risk management of U-Thong School. The statistical analysis were frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.

          The findings of study were as follows:

          1. The risk management of U-Thong School under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office Suphan Buri, as a whole and each aspect were at a high level. They were put in descending order based on its average score, as follows; the risk response, the risk identification, the reporting and the monitoring, the objective setting, and the risk assessment.

          2. The guidelines for developing the risk management of U-Thong School under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office Suphan Buri were as follows; 1) the school should set clear objectives of the risk management and inform the objectives to school personnel clearly, 2) the school should analyze the risk covering both internal and external factors that may prevent the operation to achieving its objectives, 3) the school should set the priority risks clearly from most to least, 4) the school should assign the risk response aiming to the objectives and inform personnel, and 5) the school should monitor, evaluate and report the risk management continuously to develop the risk management efficiently.
