ACADEMIC ADMINISTRATION OF CHAAM KHUNYING NUANGBURI SCHOOL

Abstract

          The purposes of this study were to know 1) academic administration of Chaam Khunying Nuangburi School and 2) the guidelines to develop academic administration of Chaam Khunying Nuangburi School. The population of this study were administrators and teachers in Chaam Khunying Nuangburi School, totally 52 respondents. The instrument was an opinionnaire about the academic administration based on OBEC Concept. The statistics used to analyze the data were frequency (f), percentage (%), arithmetic mean (µ), standard deviation (s) and content analysis.

          The findings were as follows:         

           1. The academic administration of Chaam Khunying Nuangburi School in overall was at high level and each aspects found that thirteen aspects at high level. When ranking by arithmetic mean from the highest to the lowest, there were,: Textbooks selection for schools, Measurement evaluation and transfer of grades, Learning process development, Guidance , Learning and teaching management in schools, The development of internal quality assurance systems and educational standards, Educational supervisor, providing education to people, families, institutions. Enterprise and other institdites, Preparation of regulations and practicality for academic, School curriculum development, Development and promotion of learning resources, Developing or proceeding with opinions on a local curriculum development, Technology media development and using for education. Four aspects were at moderate level, there were Academic planning, Collaboration in academic development with other schools and organizations, Promoting the academic strength of the community, Research for educational quality development in schools.

           2. The Guidelines to develop academic administration of Cha-am School Khunying Nueng Buri as follows, The School should focus on academic planning and collaborate on academic development with other schools and institutions to promote the community to be academically strong, should encourage teachers to gain knowledge about doing research to improve quality educational, should arrange teaching activities in accordance with the school curriculum and Basic Education Core Curriculum.
