The Management of Child-Centered Education

The education system suitable for today’s demands and changes in our society is child-centered education, which focuses on the individual differences such as individual capabilities, aptitude, and interests; and also emphasizes on developing the students to think critically and to create their own body of knowledge. Higher education institutions are trying to offer education system that meets with today’s demands; therefore, the universities are reforming their eduction systems and promoting child-centered eduction via various methods, for example, inquiry-based learning, problem-based learning, active learning, self-learning, etc. However, there are few issues that needs attention in the management of child-centered eduction, which are learner, teachers, curriculum, instruction, administrators, environment and management.
