SUPERVISORY BEHAVIOR OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS AFFECTING STUDENT ACTIVITY PERFORMANCE IN SCHOOL UNDER SUPHANBURI PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 2
The purpose of this research were to find: 1) Supervisory behavior of administrators in SuphanBuri Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, 2) The learner development activities of teachers in schools under SuphanBuri Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 and 3) Supervisory behavior of administrators affecting learner development activities of teachers in schools under SuphanBuri Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The sample were the 103 schools under SuphanBuri Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The respondents were 4 people in each schools which composed of administrators, deputy director of academic affairs, head of learners and teacher development activities committee, 412 in total. The instrument was the questionnaire concerning the administrator's supervisory behavior based on the Glickman concept and learner development activities based on Office of National Primary Education Comittee, Education core curriculum B.E. 2551. The statistical used for data analyzing were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The findings of this research were as follow : 1. Supervisory behavior of administrators in schools under SuphanBuri Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 as a whole and in each aspect, were at high level. When considering each aspect, four aspects were at high level: ranking from the highest to the lowest : non-directive supervisory behavior, collaborative supervisory behavior, directive supervisory behavior by controlling and directive supervisory behavior by information 2. Student activity performance in school under SuphanBuri Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 as a whole was at high level, ranking from the highest to the lowest: social responsibility and philanthropy, student activities and counseling activities. 3. Collaborative supervisory behavior, Non-directive supervisory behavior, directive supervisory behavior by controlling and directive supervisory behavior by information of the administrators affected learner development activities under SuphanBuri Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 in overall view significantly at the level of 0.01.
