THE ETHICS OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATOR AND PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATION IN SCHOOL UNDER PRACHUAP KHIRI KHAN PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 1

Abstract

                The purposes of this research were to determine 1) school administrator professional ethics in school under Prachuap Kiri Khan Primary Education Service Area Office 1 2) personal administration in school under Prachuap Kiri Khan Primary Education Service Area Office 1 and 3) relationship between school administrator professional ethics of school and the personal administration of school in Prachuap Kiri Khan Primary Education Service Area Office 1. The sample of this research consisted of 97 schools in Prachuap Kiri Khan Primary Education Service Area Office 1. The respondents were a school director or an acting school director and a head or deputy head of human resources management department, totally of 194 respondents. The research instrument was a questionnaire regarding school administrator professional ethics based on the regulations of the Teachers Council. According to the rules of teachers ‘council with behavioral patterns for the ethics of profession 2013 and the personal administration of school. based on the manual of basic school administration that is corporation, Ministry of Education. The statistics used to analyze the data were frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation and Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient.

                The finding revealed as follows

                1. The Ethics of School Administrator in school under Prachuap Kiri Khan Primary Education Service Area Office 1, as a whole and individual were found at the highest level. ; ranking from the highest mean to the lowest mean as follow: the ethics for client, the ethics for workmate, the ethics for social, the ethics for self and the ethics for profession.

                2. The personal administration in school under Prachuap Kiri Khan Primary Education Service Area Office 1, as a whole and individual were at the highest level. Ranking from the highest mean to the lowest mean as follow: discipline and discipline procedures, manpower planning and placement, retirement, recruitment and increasing performance efficiency.

                3. The relationship between The Ethics of School Administrator and the personal statistical in school under Prachuap Kiri Khan Primary Education Service Area Office 1 was at .01 level of significance.
