The Management of Academic Affairs in Teaching Chinese of Secondary School through Teacher Perception in Secondary Educational Service Area Office Area 1

This research aimed to study and compare the teachers’ perception towards the management of Academic Affairs in teaching Chinese of secondary schools under Secondary Educational Service Area Office Area 1. The sampling group in this study composed of 234 teachers in Foreign Language Department (Chinese) in secondary schools under Secondary Educational Service Area Office Area 1. The research instrument was the questionnaire which the reliability was at .98, and discrimination level was higher than .20. The statistics used in data analysis was descriptive statistics, independent t-test, and One-Way Analysis of Variance, and Scheffé’s method when it was statistically significant differences at .05.
The results showed that:
- Teachers’ perception towards the management of Academic Affairs in teaching Chinese of secondary schools under Secondary Educational Service Area Office Area 1 in both overview and each aspect were at high level. 2. Teachers who had the educational degree levels and different positions had no differences in the perception towards the management of Academic Affairs. Teachers who had the experiences in the different positions had the perception towards the management of Academic Affairs differently, except the internal supervision. Teachers who worked in the different school sizes had the perception towards the management of Academic Affairs differently.
