The Comparison of Attitudes of Teachers and Education Personnel Toward the School-Based Management of School Under Samutsakhon Provincial Administrative Organization

The objectives of this research were 1) to study the differences of teachers' attitudes toward management using school-based schools under the jurisdiction of SamutSakhon Provincial Administrative Organization. 2) to study the differences of educational personnels’ attitudes toward management using school-based schools under the jurisdiction of SamutSakhon Provincial Administrative Organization. 3) The comparison of attitudes between teachers and educational personnel on school-based management of schools under the jurisdiction of SamutSakhon Provincial Administrative Organization.The questionnaires were distributed to collect data from 103 teachers and educational personnel of SamutSakhon Provincial Administrative Organization. The descriptive statistics used in this study were percentage, mean and standard deviation (S.D.) and independent t-test. The significant level of hypothesis testing was set at .05
The results showed that: 1) School-based management of schools under the SamutSakorn Provincial Administrative Organization of teachers’ attitudes was conducted at a high level in total aspect. When considering each aspect, it was found that the school-based management was at the high level. The first was checks and balances, followed by Return Power to People and the least was Decentralization. 2) School-based management of schools under the SamutSakorn Provincial Administrative Organization of Education Personnel’attitudes was conducted at a high level in total aspect. When considering each aspect, it was found that the school-based management was at the high level. The first is participation or collaboration, followed by Return Power to People and the least is Self- Managing. 3)The comparison of attitudes of teachers and educational personnel on school-based management of schools under SamutSakhon Provincial Administrative Organization, it found that Decentralization, Self- Managing and checks and balances are significant differences at .05
