Research Synthesis of Doctoral Thesis in Educational Administration, Silpakorn University

This research aimed to synthesize 1) the manner of the theses and 2) the knowledge from doctoral theses in educational administration, Faculty of Education, Silpakorn University. This research is a descriptive research employing documentary study. The populations were 188 doctoral theses in educational administration, Faculty of Education, Silpakorn University during the academic year of 2550 - 2558. The research instruments were recoding and coding form. The statistics employed in this study were descriptive statistics and content analysis in accordance with the strategies of the National Scheme of Education, B.E. 2560 - 2579.
The results were:
- The theses were descriptive research. The most research design used were the one-shot, non-experimental case study. The research populations were basic education institutes. The most commonly used techniques to gather research sample was stratified random sampling. The most used research instrument was questionnaire, which was tested for content validity and reliability. The statistics most commonly used were descriptive statistics and multivariate statistics such as factor analysis, path analysis, and so on. The findings were commonly verified by statistics or experts with various techniques such as EFR, EDFR, connoisseurship, or questionnaire.
- Knowledge from the synthesis of the doctoral theses is consistent with the strategies of the National Scheme of Education B.E. 2560 – 2579; which included Strategy 1: Educational management for the strength of the nation and society, Strategy 2: Development of research and innovation workforce to enhance the national competitiveness, Strategy 3: The proficiency development for people of all ages and the promotion of a lifelong learning society, Strategy 4: Creating opportunities and equality in education, Strategy 5: Educational administration to enhance the quality of an eco-friendly life, and Strategy 6: The competency development for educational administrations.
