The purposes of the research were to identify 1) Guidance performance of Phapathomwittayalai 2 Luangphongoenanusorn School. 2) the opinions of personnel on guidance performance of Phapathomwittayalai 2 Luangphongoenanusorn School when comparing by status and 3) the approach to development of guidance performance in Phapathomwittayalai 2 Luangphongoenanusorn School. The population of this research was 48 personnel of Phapathomwittayalai 2 Luangphongoenanusorn School. The research instruments were the questionnaires to survey about the guidance performance of Phapathomwittayalai 2 Luangphongoenanusorn School and questionnaires for interviewing the approach to development of guidance performance of Phapathomwittayalai 2 Luangphongoenanusorn School. The statistical use for analyses the data were descriptive statistics, frequency, percentage, means, standard deviation.
The research findings were as follows :
- The guidance performance of Phapathomwittayalai 2 Luangphongoenanusorn School, as a whole and as an individual, was found at a high level; ranking from the highest to the lowest: counseling service, information service, personnel placement service, individual inventory service, and following and evaluation service.
- There were no significantly different between the opinions of personnel on guidance performance of Phapathomwittayalai 2 Luangphongoenanusorn School classified by status.
- There were 11 approaches to development of the guidance performance of Phapathomwittayalai 2 Luangphongoenanusorn School; 1) training for advisory teachers to provide a format of data collecting 2) spending time and money for advisory teachers to visit students’ house 3) adding up the ways for searching information 4) Creating blogs, websites, or channels to present information for students. 5) having a project as Youth Counselor: YC 6) having a counseling room. 7) learning according to the students’ interest 8) having a camp to enhance self-interested skills 9) doing the old student list of Matthayom 3 and Matthayom 6 10) Creating the ways to provide school information to the old students and 11) editing the error information to develop and plan the guidance performance on next year.
