THE EMPOWERMENT OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATOR AFFECTING TEAM BUILDING OF TEACHER UNDER RATCHABURI PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 1

The purposes of this research were to determine; 1) the empowerment of school administrator under Ratchaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, 2) the team building of teacher under Ratchaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 and 3) the empowerment of school administrator affecting team building of teacher under Ratchaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. The sample were 106 schools under Ratchaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, The 2 respondents in each school were; a director or deputy school director and a teacher 212 respondents in total. The research instrument was a questionnaire about empowerment based on Covey’s concept, and team building based on Woodcock’s concept. The statistical used for analyze the data were frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation and stepwise multiple regression analysis.
The findings of the research were as follow :
- The empowerment of school administrator under Ratchaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, both in overall and individual were at a high level. Ranking by arithmetic mean from maximum to minimum were character, skills, win – win agreement, self – supervision, helpful structures and system and accountability : self evaluation.
- The team building of teacher under Ratchaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, both in overall and individual were at a high level. Ranking by arithmetic mean from maximum to minimum wear balanced role, cooperation and conflict, sound working and decision procedures, clear objectives and agreed goal, openness and confrontation, support and trust, regular review, individual development, appropriate leadership, sound Inter–group relations and good communication.
- The empowerment of school administrator affecting team building of teacher under Ratchaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office1. The empowerment of school administrator were self-supervision, accountability : self evaluation and skill affecting team building of teacher under Ratchaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 1.
