THE STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT OF BANPHAEO INDUSTRIAL AND COMMUNITY EDUCATION COLLEGE

This purpose of research were to identify ; 1) the strategic management of Banpheao Industrial and Community Education College, 2) the problem and solution of the strategic management of Banpheao Industrial and Community Education College. The population were: a director, 3 vice director, 35 teachers and 15 personnels of Banpheao Industrial and Community Education College, in total of 54. The 2 research instruments which were; a questionnaire based on Wheelen and Hunger’s concept and a record of focus group discussion about problem and solutions of the strategic management of Banpheao Industrial and Community Education College. The statistical used to analyze the data were frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation and content analysis.
The result of research were as follow;
- The strategic management of Banpheao Industrial and Community Education College, both collectively and individually, was found at a high level. Ranking by arithmetic mean from maximum to minimum were to evaluation and control, strategy Implementation, strategy formulation and environmental scanning.
2. The problem and solution of the strategic management of Banpheao Industrial and Community Education College were; (1) there are 4 problems which are; (1.1) college gets more policy from top management so we can’t perform the ordinary work in time (1.2) some personnel don’t participate in strategy formulation (1.3) personnel whom have been delegated to work lacks of knowledge and ability and (1.4) no designing and developing the strategic assessment, and (2) there are 7 solutions which are (2.1) identify the suitable criteria for personnel selection (2.2) the equal distribution of work (2.3) provide the job training (2.4) setting the working group who is from all learning department (2.5) select the experienced-worker to be trainer in working (2.6) depute each learning department do assessment and evaluation tools and (2.7) monitoring all of learning department in use the do assessment and evaluation tools.
