THE POIORITY NEEDS OF DEVELOPING ACADEMIC MANAGEMENT OF SUANKULARB WITTAYALAI AFFILIATED SCHOOL BASED ON THE CONCEPT OF GLOBAL COMPETENCE

Abstract
The objective of this research was to study the current and the desirable states and to assess the priority need of developing academic management of Suankularb Wittayalai Affiliate School based on the concept of global competence. The informants were schools directors, deputy directors and teachers, totally 326, in Suankularb Wittayalai Affiliate School. The data were analyzed by mean and priority needs index modified (PNIModified). The research findings showed that, overall, the current and desirable states of developing academic management of Suankularb Wittayalai Affiliated Schools based on the concept of global competence were at a high level and the highest level, respectively. The first priority need fell on learning Management (PNIModified = 0.360) followed by curriculum development (PNIModified = 0.354) and evaluation (PNIModified = 0.349), respectively.
