Future research trend in Thailand

Abstract

Stories or phenomena occurred and passed were called the past. The past stories were truly happened and approved. The present events appear now and they can be experienced at that time. The past and the present were real phenomena, but the future is yet to come. That means what has not been happened yet. Most people believe that the future is unpredictable, unable to fix, and unable expect. Current concepts about the future began to change by seeing that the future can be studied and controlled. A branch line of the new concept was called Futurology or Futurism. The research methodology in this branch was developed systematically and called future research. That was to make people realize the importance of future research to prevent problems, to set plans, and to develop and evaluate institutions in accordance with the future contexts.
