Abstract

The youths are a major force in shaping the nation. To train them to be good and intellectual is a challenging work.  This is consistent with the concept of the National Education Act BE 2542 requiring intellectual, good and happy young people. The Buddhist principles can work well with this concept because Buddhist principles can train human in both physical and mental aspects. The Buddhist education starts from the mind and encourage the youths to realize the economic change, social impacts to life quality and the influence of consumerism.
