Abstract

The objectives of the research identity study of religious architecture to promote route of cultural tourism: case study of Bang Khen District, Bangkok were: 1) to collect the architecture type of religious architectures as a local database 2) to study the identities of religious architecture as a base in preparation for route of culture tourism and 3) to present management model of cultural tourism in the area as a model to deal with the others areas. The research found that the Bang Khen District have the potential elements to attract tourism such as the identity of the religious architecture, convenience of transportation, several activities and so on. Therefore, this study propose a route of cultural tourism which can create as a guideline for stakeholders to develop as a route of cultural tourism in the future
