วัสดุที่ใช้ในการสร้างสรรค์ประติมากรรม Materials Used in Creating Sculptures

บทคัดย่อ

      บทความนี้เป็นการนำาเสนอตัวอย่างผลงานประติมากรรมจำานวน 8 ชิ้น และการสัมภาษณ์ประติมากรเกี่ยวกับวัสดุที่ ใช้ ในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานประติมากรรม ซึ่งผู้เขียนจะไม่กล่าวถึงรายละเอียดทางด้านคุณสมบัติของวัสดุ หากแต่ประติมากรจะเป็นผู้ถ่ายทอดถึงคุณสมบัติ รวมถึงการใช้งานวัสดุต่างๆ เหล่านั้น โดยได้อธิบายผ่านทางแนว ความคิดหรือจากขั้นตอนในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงาน และผู้เขียนได้แบ่งกลุ่มผลงานประติมากรรมออกเป็นชนิดของวัสดุ เพื่อความสะดวกในการเทียบเคียงแนวความคิดของประติมากรที่ใช้วัสดุชนิดเดียวกันในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงาน

      ซึ่งได้เลือกสรรผลงานประติมากรรมที่สร้างขึ้นด้วยวัสดุที่ต่างชนิดกัน และประติมากรที่มีวัยแตกต่างกัน เพื่อให้สามารถเห็นมุมมองทางความคิดสร้างสรรค์อันหลากหลายเหล่านั้นได้ โดยผู้เขียนได้เปรียบเทียบถึงความหลากหลายของวัสดุที่ปรากฏให้เห็นในงานประติมากรรมกับธรรมชาติของ “คน” ที่ต่างก็มีความแตกต่างกันในที่มา ต่างที่ประสบการณ์ ต่างกระบวนการในการเรียนรู้ รวมถึงมีทัศนคติที่ แตกต่างกันไป จึงส่งผลให้ธรรมชาติในการสร้างสรรค์นั้นเกิดความเฉพาะตน แตกต่าง และหลากหลายกันออกไป ทั้งในด้านของรูปทรง กระบวนการ กลวิธี รวมถึงวัสดุต่างๆที่ใช้ในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานประติมากรรม

      his article presents 8 sample pieces of sculpture and interviews with sculptors about the materials used in creating sculptures. Hereby, I shall not discuss in details about the characteristics of each material. However, the sculptors shall instruct all information, as well as the use of the materials, through the ideas/concepts or methods used in creating their artworks. In addition, I have categorized sculptural works into types of materials used, so that the comparison ideas/concepts of the artists who used the same material will be easy to understand.

      In order to have alternative perspectives on creative ideas, the selection of sculptures created with different materials and sculptors with different age has been done in this study. I also have compared the difference of materials appeared in sculptural art works, specifically those related to the nature of “Human Being” that has diversity in terms of origin, experience, learning process, as well as the different attitudes. As a result, the nature of creating artwork creates the individuality, difference and diversity, as well as the shapes, processes, methods, and the materials used in creating sculptures.
