วีลแชร์แบดมินตัน (Wheelchair Badminton): กติกากีฬาสำหรับคนพิการ ในยุคแบดมินตันไทยรุ่งเรือง

บทคัดย่อ

ในขณะแข่งขันวีลแชร์แบดมินตันผู้เล่นต้องเสิร์ฟ และรับอย่างถูกต้อง ตั้งแต่เริ่มส่งลูกจนกระทั่งส่งลูกแล้ว ล้อรถวีล แชร์ทั้งฝ่ายส่งและฝ่ายรับจะต้องนิ่งอยู่กับที่ ยกเว้นการเคลื่อนที่หมุนล้ออยู่กับที่ของฝ่ายส่งลูก รวมไปถึง ทุกส่วนของ ลูกขนไก่จะต้องอยู่ต่ำกว่ารักแร้ผู้ส่งลูกขณะที่แร็กเกตสัมผัสลูก และจะถือว่าเสียถ้าในขณะเล่นลูกขนไก่ถูกรถวีลแชร์ นอกจากนั้น เท้าของผู้เล่นจะต้องถูกผูกติดกับที่พักเท้าของรถวีลแชร์ตลอดเวลา ถ้าหลุดออกมาระหว่างการเล่นจะถือว่า เสีย หรือ ถ้าระหว่างการเล่น เท้าของผู้เล่นสัมผัสกับพื้นสนาม เป็นต้น

วีลแชร์แบดมินตัน ในแต่ละแมทช์มีผู้เล่นอยู่ในสนามข้างละ 1 คน โดยเล่นอยู่ในครึ่งสนาม (ประเภทเดี่ยว) หรือข้างละ 2 คน โดยเล่นเต็มสนาม (ประเภทคู่) แมทช์หนึ่งต้องชนะให้ได้มากที่สุดใน 3 เกม โดยแต่ละเกม ฝ่ายที่ได้ 21 คะแนน ก่อนจะเป็นฝ่ายชนะ แต่ถ้ามีคะแนน 20 เท่ากัน ฝ่ายชนะต้องมีคะแนนนำ2 คะแนน จึงจะถือว่าชนะในเกมนั้น และ ถ้ามีคะแนน 29 เท่ากัน ฝ่ายที่ได้ 30 คะแนนก่อนเป็นฝ่ายชนะ ผู้เล่นจะต้องมีการเปลี่ยนข้างหลังจากจบเกมที่ 1 หลัง จบเกมที่ 2 (ถ้ามีเกมที่ 3) และในเกมที่ 3 เมื่อคะแนนนำถึง 11 คะแนน

A match shall consist of the best of three games. A game shall be won by the side which first scores 21 points but if the score becomes 20-all, the side which gains a two point lead first, shall win that game. If the score becomes 29-all, the side scoring the 30th point shall win that game. Players shall change ends: at the end of the first game; at the end of the second game (if there is to be a third game); and in the third game when a side first scores 11 points.
