บทคัดย่อ
การวิจัยน ี้ มีวัตถุประสงคเพ ื่ อศึกษาการทําหนาท ี่ ของส ื่ อมวลชนของรายการเลาขาวทางสถานีโทรทัศนไทยทีวีสีชอง 3 ศึกษาความคิดเห็นของประชาชนในเขตภาคเหนือตอการใชประโยชนรายการเลาขาวทางชอง 3 ศึกษาความพึงพอใจของประชาชน ในภาคเหนือตอการเลาขาวทางชอง 3 และเปรียบเทียบความคิดเห็นของประชาชนในเขตภาคเหนือท ี่ มีลักษณะทาง ประชากรศาสตรตางกันไปตอประเด็นการใชประโยชนและความพึงพอใจตอรายการเลาขาวทางชอง 3 กลุมตัวอยางในการวิจัย คือ ประชาชนท ี่ อาศัยอยูในเขตภาคเหนือ จํานวน 400 คน ดวยวิธีวิจัยเชิงปริมาณใช แบบสอบถามเปนเครื่องมือในการเก็บขอมูล ผลการศึกษาพบประเด็นสําคัญ 4 ประเด็น ดังน ี้(1) ประชาชนในเขตภาคเหนือ เห็น วาการทําหนาท ี่ ทางส ื่ อมวลชนตอรายการเลาขาวทางชอง 3 อยูในระดับมาก (2) ในประเด็นดานการใชประโยชนจากรายการเลา ขาวทางชอง 3 ประชาชนในเขตภาคเหนือเห็นวามีประโยชนมากท ี่ สุดในดานการรับขาวสาร ดานความสนใจในการรับชม พบวา ขาวบันเทิงมีความนาสนใจมากท ี่ สุด ดานเหตุผลของความชื่นชอบในการรับชม คือ การไดรับความบันเทิงผอนคลายความเครียด และดานการมีสวนรวมในการรับชม คือ การไดดูการเลาขาว (3) ประชาชนในภาคเหนือ มีความพึงพอใจตอรายการเลาขาวทาง ขาวทางชอง 3 ในระดับปานกลาง โดยมีความพึงพอใจสูงสุด ในดานชวงเวลาของรายการ (4) ประชาชนในเขตภาคเหนือท ี่ มีเพศ สถานภาพการสมรส อายุระดับการศึกษา และรายไดตอเดือนตางกัน มีความพึงพอใจและความคิดเห็นตอการใชประโยชนจาก รายการเลาขาวทางชอง 3 ไมแตกตางกัน
Mass Media’s Functions of News Telling Programs: A Case Study of Thai TV Channel 3
This research aims to study the Mass Media’s Functions of News Telling Programs: A Case Study of Thai TV Channel 3, study the opinions of people in the Northern region regarding the benefits from the News Telling program on channel 3 , study the satisfaction of the people residing in the Northern region towards the News Telling program on channel 3 and compare the opinions of Northern region residents with different socio-demographics towards the issues of satisfaction and benefits gained from the News Telling program on channel 3. The sample group for the research is 400 people residing in the Northern region of Thailand. With quantitative research approach, questionnaire is adopted as major data collection tool. The results show four mains findings as the following: (1) the Northern region residents perceived that the performance of reporters in the News Telling program on channel 3 is generally very good. (2) In terms of benefits from watching the news report, people residing in the Northern region viewed that the most important benefit of watching the news report is to receive the news; on the issue of interest in watching the program, they noted entertainment news as the most interesting news program; on the issue of the reason to interest in News telling program are self - entertainment and stress relief; and the issue of participation when watching the program is participation during watching the news report. (3) People residing in the Northern region have medium satisfaction in watching the News Telling program on channel. The highest satisfaction of the sample group is on the duration of the program. (4) People residing in the Northern region vary in their gender, marital status, age, education, and monthly income do not vary in their perceived benefits and satisfaction from the News Telling program on channel 3.Key words: Functions of the media, News Telling programme, Thai television channel 3.
