Abstract

This research aimed to study factors affecting English reading problems of English-major students, Faculty of Education, Naresuan University. The participants consisted of 65 students chosen from the 3rd year English-major students, Bachelor of Education, Naresuan University. Purposive sampling techniques were used to select the samples of the study. The questionnaire used in this study was divided into 3 main parts: individual attitude factors, family environment factors, and educational factors. The result of this research showed that the factors most affecting English reading problems were individual attitude factors, followed by educational factors, and family environment factors, respectively.
