Policy Adjustments in Journal Operations

2025-08-28

To ensure that the journal’s operations are conducted appropriately, in line with academic standards, and to further enhance the quality of scholarly dissemination, the Editorial Board has resolved to implement certain policy changes. These revisions will take effect from Volume 26, Issue 1 (January – June 2026) onward, as detailed below:

  • Types of Articles

The journal has expanded the types of articles accepted for publication. Previously limited to two types—Research Articles and Original Articles—the journal will now accept three types: Research Articles, Original Articles, and Review Articles.

  • Manuscript Review Policy

All manuscripts will be evaluated by experts in the relevant field. While the previous policy required review by at least two experts, the journal has revised this to a minimum of three reviewers to strengthen the quality and credibility of published scholarly work.

  • Manuscript Preparation

The manuscript preparation guidelines have been updated to align with the three accepted article types: Research Articles, Original Articles, and Review Articles. The guidelines include requirements for referencing style, language usage, author responsibilities, and the roles of the editorial board, along with illustrative examples. Authors may find further details and download the manuscript template from the “Submission” section on the Sahasat: Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities website.
