SWOT ANALYSIS OF DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY PROGRAM IN APPLIED LINGUISTICS (INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM), MAHIDOL UNIVERSITY

Abstract

According to the world crisis, educational sectors need to reform the educational standard to connect the real world with the textbook and human skills for learners to survive. The learning environment and teaching curriculum need to serve more realistic needs of learners. SWOT analysis is a tool to survey and analyze how the learners react to the curriculum and learning environment. Ten PH.D. students of Doctor of Philosophy Program in Applied Linguistics (International Program) give the suggestions on strength, weakness, and also development guidelines about the program.
