Usage of Thai Language for Communication in Class Presentation of Loei Rajabhat University Students

Abstract

          This article aims to present the usage of Thai language for communication in class presentation of students who study in the Thai language for communication course at Loei Rajabhat University. This study is to analyze the usage of Thai language through class presentation of the students which is prepared for smooth and correct grammar. The result of the study finding the problems is as follows: 1) lack of meeting planning; 2) lack of understanding of the presentation contexts; 3) lack of greeting or introducing themselves; 4) lack of content arrangement. For problem-solution approach, it is divided into four aspects in the following: 1) having a meeting planning; 2) make understand the presentation contexts such as number of audiences, time of presentation, media for using in the classroom, and dressing; 3) greeting and introduction; and 4) analyzing the content of presentation such as contents, speaking in simple and correct grammar, usage the accompanying gesture in contents, and rehearsing the class presentation. The new body of knowledge consists of two groups: 1) internal communication that is related to first and second aspects; 2) external communication that is the third and fourth aspects.
