The objectives of this research report titled safety helmet were to 1)survey the safety helmet 2)compare the behavior according to their gender, income, and years of riding motorcycle, The data were collected among 178 students using questionnaire proved by its reliability score of
0.832. Statistics used in analyzing research data included frequency and percentage, arithmetic mean (), and standard deviation (SD). Research hypothesis were examined by t-test and F-test. The majority of respondents were female, belonged to accounting major, received 2.51-3.00 grade point average, earning 3,001-5,000 Baht per month, having 5 years experience of riding motorcycle or more. The highest safety helmet using behavior was in using manner aspect followed by time and occasion aspect and reason for using aspect respectively. In testing the research hypothesis, we found that gender difference led to significantly different behavior in time and occasion aspect but no significant difference in using manner aspect and reason for using aspect. Furthermore, difference in income led to significantly different behavior in time and occasion aspect and reason for using aspect, but no significant difference in using manner aspect. Finally, differences in years of riding bicycle led to significantly different behavior in time and occasion aspect but no significant difference in using manner aspect and reason for using aspect. The participants of this research found the most problematic part of using safety helmet was concerning to damaged condition of helmets, and recommended users to quit using them and purchase a new one.
