THE MANAGEMENT AND ORGANIZATION OF THE SCHOOL PERFORMANCE COMPETITION FOR THE WINNING SCHOOLS IN THE FINAL ROUND OF THE CHING CHA SAWUN TELEVISION PROGRAM.

Abstract

This research studied the management of the school performances that reached the final round of the Ching Cha Sawun Show in the 11th year (2022) - 14th year (2025), by analyzing and comparing the performance management of each school to create a success model of performance management. The sample group consisted of 4 schools: Prakonchai Pittayakhom School, Thesaban 4 School (Phetcham), Sangkha School, and Pak Thong Chai Prachanimit School. The results found that: 1) Planning aspect has different planning characteristics. 2) Organization aspect is divided into 2 characteristics: division by departments and division by functional units. 3) The command aspect is similar, that is, using a chain of command to give orders in a hierarchical manner from top to bottom. 4) The coordination aspect is similar, that is, there is a performance manager at the center coordinating with the teachers in charge of each section. 5) The control aspect is similar in that the show manager is the center of overall control of the work. Three types of work control systems were identified: the marching band training system, the family system, and the role and duty system. It was also found that among the four management resources (4M), three factors--manpower, and machinery - were consistent across schools. but in terms of finance, the financial management style was not different, but the cost of managing the show was different. The research results created two success models of performance management: 1) a success model of performance management: human resources and budget, and 2) a success model of performance management: management aspect.
