Emotional Quotient of School Administrators Affecting Satisfaction of Teachers in School Under Sakon Nakhon Primary Educational Service Area Office 3

Abstract

The research aimed to 1) study the level of emotional quotient of school administrators, 2) study the level of job satisfaction of teachers in schools, 3) study the relationship between emotional quotient of school administrators and job satisfaction of teachers in schools, 4) study the predictive power of emotional quotient of school administrators affecting job satisfaction of teachers in schools, and The population group consisted of school administrators and teachers under the Sakon Nakhon Primary 
Educational Service Area Office, Area 3, academic year 2024. The sample group used in this research was 324 people, which was obtained by multi-stage random sampling. 
The research tools consisted of 1) a 5-level rating scale questionnaire. The questionnaire on emotional quotient of school administrators had a reliability value of 0.60 - 1.00 The discrimination power was between 0.49 - 0.95 and the reliability was 0.98. The satisfaction with teachers' work performance in the school had a reliability value between 0.60 - 1.00, the discrimination power was between 0.34 - 0.92 and the reliability was 0.95. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson's product moment correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression analysis.
The research results found that
1. The level of emotional intelligence of school administrators under the Office of Sakon Nakhon Primary Educational Service Area 3 was found to be at a high level. As for the level of job satisfaction of teachers in schools under the Office of Sakon Nakhon Primary Educational Service Area 3, it was found to be at a high level.
2. The level of job satisfaction of teachers in schools under the Office of Sakon Nakhon Primary Educational Service Area 3 was found to be at a high level.
3. The relationship between emotional intelligence of school administrators and job satisfaction of teachers in schools, overall, was positively related at a high level with a statistical significance level of .01.
4. The emotional intelligence of school administrators in terms of social skills, self-motivation, and self-control had the power to predict job satisfaction of teachers in schools with a statistical significance level of .01 with a predictive power of 71.20 percent.
