Leadership of Academic Administrators Based on Good Governance Principles Under The Office of Bung Kan Primary Education, Bung Kan Province

Abstract
appropriate academic leadership approaches aligned with good governance principles. The study employed a mixed methods research design, combining quantitative and qualitative approaches. In the first phase, a questionnaire was used to collect
quantitative data from a sample of 242 participants, comprising 41 administrators and 201 teachers. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including percentage, mean, and standard deviation. In the second phase, qualitative data were collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed using content analysis and analytic induction.
The results revealed that:
1. The overall academic leadership practices based on good governance principles were at a high level. The most prominent aspect was responsibility, followed by the rule of law, participation, morality, transparency, and the least practiced aspect was value for money.
2. Guidelines for enhancing academic leadership based on good governance indicated that administrators should fairly delegate tasks based on strategy and individual competencies, act with integrity and transparency, promote stakeholder participation, continuously monitor academic activities, demonstrate accountability in all academic operations, and utilize resources efficiently to achieve optimal outcomes in academic management within educational institutions.
