Buddhist-Oriented Occupational Safety

Abstract

 This academic article aims to study the Buddhist approach to occupational safety and present the Buddhist approach to occupational safety for effective work safety development according to the principles of Buddhist occupational safety, namely the Four Bases of Power 1 Chanda which is intentional work 2 Viriya, which is diligence in the assigned work  3 Chitta, which is taking care and taking responsibility for work. and 4 Vimangsa  which is contemplation in work to find shortcomings in occupational health and safety management. This helps reduce losses resulting from accidents and promotes safe work including compliance with safety regulations, as well as providing support in terms of budget, personnel, machinery, equipment, and time management to ensure that work is effectively accomplished and sustainably safe for the organization according to the Buddhist approach to occupational safety.
