Abstract

The objectives of this research are to 1) study the concept of the Boon Berk Fa event, 2) study the principles of Buddhist philosophy that appear in the Boon Berk Fa event, 3) integrate the principles of Theravada Buddhist philosophy that appear in the Boon Berk Fa event that influence the people. Maha Sarakham Province and 4) present knowledge about the integration of Theravada Buddhist philosophy that appears in the Bun Berk Fa event that has an influence on the people of Maha Sarakham Province.  Using in-depth interviews. Group of monks with knowledge and expertise in the Bun Berk Fa tradition A total of 8 photos/person were used for content analysis. and present descriptive information
The results of the research found that
1. Concepts about the Bun Berk Fa event It is the name of the traditional wisdom event of the Isan agricultural society on the 3rd day of the 3rd lunar month, the 3rd day of the waxing moon, which is the beginning of the rainy season.
2. The principles of Buddhist philosophy that appear in the Bun Berk Fah event in Maha Sarakham Province are karma as the intention, cetasika, and threefold conduct.
3. Integrate the principles of Theravada Buddhist philosophy that appear in the Bun Berk Fa event that influences the people. Try your luck at the Bun Berk Fa event. 4. Got a new idea called “TM1BM2 MODEL” T = Theravada Buddhist philosophy is Theravada Buddhist philosophy, M1 = Merit is merit that is a folk tradition that has been inherited, B = Benefits of merit is the benefits of merit and M2 = Merit-making behavior in Maha Sarakham Province is the behavior of making merit in Maha Sarakham Province: 1) Merit-making is to understand fully. 2) Merit-making is divided into donations. 3) Merit-making is without encroachment.
