Abstract


The academic article on “Buddhist Ethics and Self-development”
is developed way of life’s quality according to Buddhist Ethics. Buddhist Ethics is
the teachings of Buddhism concerning with pursuit of the highest goodness
in human life and decision criteria the rightness and wrongness, the goodness and badness
of human’s behaviors and to be developed knowledge which can help us to destroy the
trust or evil, it is the known for doing good and the known for give up the evil.
The knowledge which we must try to study is the truth concerning ourselves. The study
of knowing the nature and the practice of truly life that the main cores of Buddhist
ethics are not to do evil, to do good deed, and to purify mind. When we have goodaction
and received the result of good action, it bring to create the happiness which is the
phenomena of good-action that is inside happiness or virtue and outside happiness or
good characteristics and bring to knowledge and wisdom. So the self-development is
beginning with the goal of happiness of general people on earth, society and nation.
