ADMINISTRATIVE STRATEGIES FOR VOCATIONAL COMPETENCY DEVELOPMENT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY FOR COLLEGE UNDER VOCATIONAL COLLEGE UNDER NAKHON SI THAMMARAT PROVINCE

Abstract
The objectives of this research are as following; 1) To study the state of administration for vocational competency development of Information technology. 2) To built up the strategies for vocational competency development of Information technology. 3) For presentation of the strategies for vocational competency development of Information technology for college under vocational college under Nakhon Si Thammarat province. This is the qualitative research, data collection by in depth interview for five key informants, strategic draft by fifteen questionnaire responses, three key informants for in depth interview, and focus group for seven scholars.
The research results found that
- The state of administration for vocational competency development of Information technology for college under vocational college under Nakhon Si Thammarat province, the outdoor surroundings; opportunity is social factor, culture. The obstacle is the politic and legal factors, the inner surrounding policy, the straight is the factor of shared value and weakness is personal factor.
- The analysis result is in the STARS channel, to design vision, mission, goal, and strategies which are composed of Strategy 1, Development of organization as fully integrated knowledge, Strategy 2, Development of learner competency on vocational to universal excellence. Strategy 3, To promote the purposive characters of learners. Strategy 4, to extend the cooperation with entrepreneurs as strong and coverage.
- The group of focus group by scholars can be concluded that it is suitable possibility and benefit and can be used in vocational college under Nakhon Si Thammarat province.
