Abstract

          Thisresearchwas aimed at studying the dynamics of traditionkuBua MatabIution, Bua Mat district, Borabue district,Mahasarakham Province. This
is a qualitative research. The research method was based on documentary and field data by using in-depth interview with 35 samples, including the
observation of tradition ku Bua Mat abIution.
          The results showed that the dynamics of tradition ku Bua Mat abIution is, according to traditional beliefs, be heId regularly every year, on the 15th Iunar month, which is related to the water festival of the 12 traditions of Isan. The surrounding communities of Ku Bua Mat come together at Ku Bua Mat for ceremonies with IocaIIy-made ceremonies Ied by IocaI ritualleader. Later, when there are other outside agencies that took part in the traditional ablution ku Bua Mat. It makes a change from the original form. Especially, the more various forms of activity in the year 2001. There are worships, Buddhist chanting, sacrificial dance, Fir-baIIs for prediction, gods-idol worship, and there are entertainments throughout the night including the offerings to the monk at the morning. It reflects the change in traditional worship that is adapted to the changing way of life and belief of the
community.
