Abstract

              The research entitle The Buddhist Ethics for prevention and resolution of The drug problem of the community in  KhonKaen  province. with research objectives  were  1) To study the causes of drug addiction in Khon Kaen. 2)To study the application of Buddhist ethics for solving and preventionthe drug problem of community  in  Khon Kaen. This research is the qualitative research methodology and the data were descriptively analyzed by the inductive analysis method.


              The research results were as follows:


              1) Causes of drug addiction in 3 communities: (1) Wat Wutaram community 3, Muang district, Khon Kaen (2) Nong Kung Thanasan community, Phu Wiang district, Khon Kaen province (3) Pueai Noi community, Pueai Noi district, Khon Kaen province 1) Cause of pride and curiosity 2) Friends of friends 3) Family 4) Environment


2). Modification and prevention of narcotic problems in the three communities has led to the application of the Buddhist ethics to the process of bringing the Buddhist ethics to be used as a benchmark for solving and preventing drug problems Community is (1)The Four Noble Truths,
(2) Brahmavihara


            3) Criteria for tackling narcotic addiction in the three communities are multicultural factors that are important variables for drug problem solving.The community uses a method that is appropriate to their space context, using a community-based approach. And the method of state law is the standard for solving and preventing drug problems of the community. The synthesis has 7 measuresare 1). Awareness Campaign 2). The use of legal measures. 3).The use of culture and wisdom in the community 4). Occupational Therapy and Care5). Meetings for Community Agreements 6). Multilateral Network 7). The use of Buddhist principles.
