The Roles of Private Sectors in Participation Local Development : A Case Study of Khonkaen Municipality

Abstract

             The purposes of this research project were to study the roles of private sectors in local development participation and their opinion of KhonKaen Municipality Administration

             The results of the study indicated that the private sectors of KhonKaen Municipality have got knowledge in local development led by the convention of KhonKaen Municipality, such as in time with the settlement of tax and do not put product on the footpath. These have shown that the private sectors were good, The roles of private sectors in local development were.  1) The products of OTOPs were bought.  2) The private sectors have donated for supporting and developing garden and green park of KhonKaen Municipality, and received student trainee.  Moreover, they were the knowledge source for traffic system arrangement in an area of KhonKaen City and. 4) The have developed the areas officially by appointing their representatives to be the committees for municipality development plan and their families would be honored.   Moreover,  to be atteactive to the private sectors requiring to participate in municipality development plan, and each organization continued offering the opinions in municipality development plan.
