Water Management for Agriculture of Kud Pia Khom SubDistrict Administrativeorganization Chonnabot District, Khonkaen Province.

Abstract

            This study aims to study the problems of the needs of the better forms of water management for agriculture of Sub-District Administrative Organization and propose the model of water management for agriculture of Kud Pia Khom Sub-District Administrative Organization, Chonnabot District, Khon Kaen Province.

            It is found the problems of water management for agriculture in terms of 1) personnel: the lack of personnel with expertise in the community water systems; 2) the budget: the deficit budget of the effective water management; 3) materials/equipment:  the lack of equipment/tools for the maintenance of water resources; 4) the service for the public: no particular service channels and mobile agency; and 5) the ethical problems are none. The model of the water management for agriculture of Sub-District Administrative Organization is proposed that all of the aspects including the personnel, budget, materials/equipment, service and ethics should focus on and participate in the operation of the more efficient water management.
