Abstract

The aims of this research were: 1) to study opinions of school administration in the digital age for school administrators under the Office of Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area 4; 2) to compare opinions about school administration in the digital age for school administrators under the Office of Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area 4, classified by status, gender and work experience; 3) to propose guidelines for school administration in the digital age for school administrators under the Office of Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area 4. This research uses a mixed methodology research model. The number of samples including administrators and teachers in schools under the Office of Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area 4 was 306, which determined the sample size by using the formulas of Krejcie & Morgan. The target groups were 12 administrators (6) and teachers (6) in the schools under the Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 4, selected by purposive sampling, divided by status. The quantitative data analysis results were used to synthesize qualitative data to get guidelines for school management in the digital age for school administrators under the Office of Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area 4.


 


          The research results were as follows:


 


          1) The school administrators and teachers have opinions about school administration in the digital age for school administrators under the Office of Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area 4, in overall, at a high level (x̄= 3.97). When considering in each aspect, there were a high level of opinions in all aspects. The opinions that are ranked first were: general administration in the digital age (x̄ = 4.07), followed by personnel administration in the digital age (x̄ = 4.00), academic administration in the digital age (x̄ = 3.93) and administration in the digital age (x̄= 3.90).


          2) A comparison of opinions of school administrators and teachers concerning educational administration in the digital age for school administrators under the Office of Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area 4, classified by status, gender and work experience in both in the whole and in all aspects  had no different at the significance level of .05.


          3) Guidelines for school administration in the digital age for school administrators under the Office of Khon Kaen Primary Education Area 4, are that administrators should provide assistance in work and more effective personnel development, especially developing and promoting knowledge and information technology and innovation. There should be online training in order to provide teachers with up-to-date knowledge and up-to-date information technology and innovation for managing the teaching and learning for the greatest benefit of the learners. The online community should be created to coordinate with the parent, community and network for faster and easier coordination and communication together with the creation of a database of information systems of students, teachers and educational personnel in order to conveniently search for information. To build a database of information systems regarding financial budgeting to be up to date, including creating a database about personnel regarding appointment, promotion and recruitment systematically and traceable should be made.
