BUDDHISM AND THATCHED

Abstract

Buddhism and Thatched have related since the Lord Buddha. The Buddha has thatched still practicing until Enlightenment. Even, Buddha had disseminated Buddhism, it still have a relationship. As said that the grass is not well-caught by people. Inevitably can cut the hand, like a monk who does not perform well, Inevtably pulled into hell. In the present time, the grass is still related with Buddhism. We have seen in various rituals, such as Sprinkled Holy water etc. Buddhists believe that the grass is a sacred grass, because it appears as a Buddhist throne where the Lord Buddha sat under the Bodhi tree on Enlightenment, so it is popularly used in the past still now.
