Abstract

In Buddha's time, the Buddha regarded "Mrs. Visakha" as an excellent giver. she was a firm believer in Buddhism. Various tasks that Mrs. Visakha was determined to do for Buddhism. It demonstrated a distinctly selfless mind of her. Every time when she found that the Buddha or the monks had problems with practicing Dhamma practice, she didn't hesitate to help solve the problem. She was an important one in supporting Buddhism and fostering monks by creating important establishments of Buddhism faithfully or being the primary cause for the Buddha's permission and laws. Even having to conflict with her husband's Jainism family, she still insisted to be a Buddhist and persuaded her husband's parents to have a chance to listen to the dharma from the Lord Buddha. When she had Buddhism faith firmly, Mrs. Visakha therefore became a laywoman who perfectly supported Buddhism. She had a good character, a lot of kindness, intelligence, knowledgeable, and circumstance insight. She was an idol for laywomen with important duties and fully equipped with knowledge and good behavior. By dedicating herself to Buddhism, her power of merit, thus, she was born with a beautiful and rich image. it became the standard of beauty of beautiful women in Buddhism every time and every era.
