Abstract
There are numerous online resources developed for Japanese language learners. Withthe help of information technology, students nowadays can access a wide range of informationsources at a time and place convenient to them. This study aims to investigate students’attitudes toward online resources which were incorporated into a classroom task to examinetheir effects. Ten online resources were compared and evaluated by 61 students. The resultsof the study show a positive attitude toward online resources. Not only content but also thewebsites’ appearances play an important role in student learning. Moreover, the students’attitudes toward an experiment in distance learning, using web conference system, were alsodiscussed.
