Abstract

The objective of this study was to examine the factors affecting the successful implementation of performance efficiency improvement measures by the Department of National Parks, Wildlife, and Plant Conservation. The study involved a sample of 356 government officers engaged in tasks related to implementing these measures. Participants were selected through stratified probability sampling, and data were collected via a questionnaire. Statistical analysis included mean, percentage, standard deviation, and multiple regression. The results indicated that the level of success in implementing performance efficiency improvement measures was high. Key factors contributing to success included the characteristics and structure of the implementing organization, attitudes of policy implementers, leadership of administrators within implementing organizations, policy resources, and inter-organizational communication. These factors accounted for 78.8% of the variation in success.
