Structural equation model of positive psychology and consumer satisfaction of European backpacker tourists on street food at Yaowarat Street

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the structural equation model of positive psychology and the satisfaction of European backpackers’ decision in choosing street food shops in Yaowarat. The sample of this study was the backpackers who consumed service from street food shops in Yaowarat. The sample size was 384. Non-probability and purposive sampling were used and then the data were analyzed using the structural equation model for the empirical data test.


            The results have shown χ2 = 0.000, df= 1943, p-value = 0.000, RMSEA = 0.077, SRMR = 0.075, NNFI = 0.83 and CFI = 0.90. Also, optimism of the tourists had the most at 0.94.
