Tax Revenue of Casinos in Macao Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China

Abstract

This article aims to consideration the information of tax revenue of casinos as the main source of revenue of Macao government, which was analyzed with gross domestic product, casino gaming business revenue and tax revenue of casinos, the consideration among the accumulated casinos gaming revenue and tax revenue of casinos, and the consideration among type of casino services, tax revenue of casinos, gross domestic product, all sources of revenue, the public expenditure, direct tax and other revenues, which was an initial consideration based on the graph depicting the tendency of certain variables. The findings revealed that the annual gross domestic product of Macao was mostly related to casino gaming business revenue and tax revenue of casinos, except in years 2012 and 2014. In addition, the relationship between the accumulated casino gaming revenue and revenue from tax revenue of casinos was found and the relationship between type of casino services, tax revenue of casinos, gross domestic product, all sources of revenue, the public expenditure, direct tax and other revenues.
